Gathering Place Will Host Free Fitness Classes in Spring and Fall, Presented by Ascension St. John The series kicks off on April 5, 2022

Tulsa, Oklahoma—Gathering Place will host weekly fitness classes in the park, presented by Ascension St. John, every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. in April, May, September, and October. Local health and wellness coaches will lead one-hour group fitness classes on the QuikTrip Great Lawn.  

“Gathering Place is passionate about promoting health and wellness within our community, so we’re excited to offer free fitness classes this spring and fall in partnership with Ascension St. John,” says Sarah Van Zandt, Director of Education and Programming at Gathering Place. “We look forward to kicking off our first spring fitness class on April 5, especially as our park begins to bloom.”  

Spring fitness classes will be led by barre3 on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and SALT Yoga on Thursdays at 6 p.m. in April and May. Fall fitness classes will be led by SHiNE Dance Fitness on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and SALT Yoga on Thursdays at 6 p.m. in September and October. All group fitness classes at the park are catered to all ages and serves beginners to seasoned athletes.
